Khartoum- Turkish Ambassador to Sudan Irfan Veziroglu has affirmed his country’s support to Sudan in all fields as the ambassador has concluded a cooperation agreement with Al Basar International Foundation at Makkah Eye Hospital in Khartoum.
The ambassador pointed out that establishment of the Turkish-Sudanese Hospital in Nyala town is just a start for the Sudanese-Turkish cooperation in health field, pointing out that 100 Sudanese patients are to be treated in Turkey annually besides opening of four branches for the Turkish Health College in Sudan.
The Regional Director of Al-Basar International Foundation, Al-As Ahmed, on his part, disclosed establishment of a partnership with Turkey in the field of combating eye diseases in Sudan, lauding the partnership, which has started by performing ten cataract surgeries.
He pointed out that the foundation operates in 47 countries of the world.
