Sudan to Become Headquarters of the Arab Women Leaders Union

Khartoum - Vice President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul Rahman affirmed Sudan's support for all institutions and unions that would promote joint Arab action that achieves the desired goals.
During his meeting with the President of the union, Hassabo welcomed Sudan selection to be headquarters of the union.
The chairman of the union, Dr. Badriya Suleiman said, in a press statement,  that the meeting comes within the framework of supporting the Arab Women Leaders Union within the framework of the joint Arab action system called by the Arab League, noting the active role of Arab women at the level of their countries or through regional and international organizations, indicating to the selection of Sudan to be a headquarters country, and that a supplementary meeting of the founding meeting held in Cairo,  will be held in Khartoum on 10 and 11 May.
On the other hand, Sudan was elected as Deputy-President of the Arab Union for Humanitarian Action and Sustainable Development, represented by Al-Safi Salem Ahmed, Secretary General of the International Peace Organization, during the meeting of the Constituent Assembly of the Union held recently in Cairo.
