Khartoum- President of the Republic Omer Al Bashir has affirmed that the American conspiracy and pressure on Sudan have led to partitioning Sudan stressing that the

American plan aims at splitting Sudan into five States.
Al Bashir said, in an interview with the Russian Sputnik News Agency which it published on Saturday, that the American pressure and conspiracy on Sudan are big and under the American pressure South Sudan seceded, leading to the split of Sudan.
He added that Sudan has information that America is seeking to split Sudan into five states, and America alone has sabotaged the Arab world. He, stressed that Washington is responsible for what happened in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Yemen and the split that occurred in Sudan.
Al Bashir went on to say that he has discussed the issue of establishing a military base in the Red Sea with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin during his recent visit to Russia. He stressed that Sudan desires military cooperation with Russia and it has the programme of re-updating the Armed Forces which is using Russian arms.
He further said when we use the equipment there will be a need for trainers and advisors and the Red Sea is an important and vital waterway and represents a gateway of Sudan.
