Khartoum – a delegation which includes several donors will depart today to Kadugli the capital city of South Kordofan State.
The objective of the visit is to get a brief from the Governor – an update on the recovery, reconstruction, development and humanitarian situation and challenges in South Kordofan State in general.
The visit represents a good opportunity for the donors to interact with the community and the stakeholders of the area in particular.
During the visit the delegation will observe the activities and projects of UNDP, UN agencies, Ministries, and NGOs and allow interaction with the community leaders and representative to have a better understanding of the security situation and peace building efforts in the area.
