Khartoum- (SMC) Khartoum Refinery Company announced completion of maintenance of the second refinery and entry in its experimental operation stage as of yesterday (Wednesday).
Acting director of the refinery Engineer Mounirah Mahmoud said in a statement to SMC that work in the refinery is progressing as planned; assuring the citizens that after completing the experimental operations the refinery would enter into actual production.
The refinery administration explained earlier that the final operation of the second refinery would be completed by the end of the current month and that after completion of the maintenance operation the amount of the petroleum products would reach about 1000 tons of cooking gas, 5500 tons of gasoline and 3500 tons of benzene.
