Debate in Parliament over Contract with Egyptian Fish Company

Khartoum-An intensive debate has occurred in the parliament on the legality of contracting by the Red Sea Government with the Egyptian company of Bir Mirz for fishing

and the mps demanded cancellation of this contract  due to the economic and environmental damage it has caused ,however the Speaker of the parliament Dr Ibrahim Ahmed Omer said the decision of terminating this contract is one of the competencies of the Executive demanding the Ministry of Justice to look into the correctness of the contract.
The controversy was provoked in the aftermath of a report presented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry   to the parliament in response to query addressed to the Minister of Environment, Resources and Physical Development to allow the Egyptian Bulldozer to work in the Sudanese coasts of the Red Sea.
