NCP: Priorities in Darfur are Resolving of Tribal Conflicts and Securing Voluntary Return Areas

Khartoum  - The National Congress Party (NCP) has reaffirmed the unswerving stance of the government through the initiatives made by the party towards completion of peace in Blue Nile and South Kordofan States as well as in Darfur by the end of 2018.
Chairman of NCP’s Organizational Sector Dr. Azhari Al-Tijani, addressing a plenary meeting of leaderships in North Darfur State, indicated that the priorities of the party in the coming stage include resolving the issue of tribal conflicts and consolidating social peace besides ensuring security and stability at the areas of voluntary return and provision of basic services to the returnees.
Governor of North Darfur State Abdel-Wahid Yusuf, on his part, affirmed readiness of the state for the 2020 elections through a number of plans and measures to boost the living conditions of the people and provision of basic services to them.
The meeting was also addressed by Secretary of Greater Darfur Secretariat at the NCP Al Dhau Osman, who praised performance of the party in North Darfur State.
