Zalingei – (smc) Central Darfur Government has started the construction of several water plants in the southern localities which witnesses a considerable flow IDPs and refugees, besides working out a plan to include the returnees’ villages in the current budget.
Urban Planning Minister in Central Darfur State, Mudathir Adam stated to (SMC) that the plan includes water, electricity and tarmac roads to link the towns, adding that the government has set water plants as top priority which should be implemented in the southern localities which are receiving big numbers of IDPs and refugees.
Adam revealed an imminent visit of the Minister of Electricity to the State to inspect the coverage of the village with power supply and increasing the water plants within Zero Thirst Projects according to the demand of the state.
