Khartoum – (smc) Ministry of Trade revealed consultations with the World Trade Organization (WTO) to determine a date for Sudan joining the organization, expecting that next April will witness the new round of negotiations.
Minister of Trade, Hatim Al-Sir told (SMC) that the upcoming round of negotiations with the WTO in Geneva is considered the fifth, pointing out that Sudan joining the WTO will added a real value due to the varieties of its exports, pointing to meeting with the US embassy officials in Khartoum besides arrangements for bilateral meetings with some countries to make the upcoming round final, affirming that Sudan has fulfilled all the demands to join the WTO.
