Damazin (Walid Adam) - Acting Governor of Blue Nile State, Dr. Adulrahman Bilal received the visiting delegation of the federal National Council for Child Welfare, led by deputy secretary general of the council Fatahalrahman Babiker, in the presence of the secretary general of the state’s council of children welfare, Nemat Adam.
The meeting discussed a number of issues concerning the welfare and protection of children and the registration of births in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Civil Register Administration besides preparations for hosting by the state to the coordination meeting of the secretaries of state councils for children welfare.
The Acting Governor of Blue Nile State lauded the initiative of the President of the Republic of releasing the children who had been compelled by the armed movements to participate in the conflicts in the past period.
He also voiced appreciation for the efforts being exerted by the state council for children welfare.
