Dialogue Mechanism Reveals Agreement on Presidential System

Khartoum – The High Coordinating Mechanism of the National Dialogue affirmed that Sudan Call recent statement over the dialogue sends a message that the SPLM and

other Darfur rebel movements do not have the desire to resolve the outstanding issue of Sudan.
According to the Mechanism member, Eng. Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid the national dialogue will continue to achieve its goals revealing the participation of Future Forces and leaders from Umma party including Mubarak Al-Fadil will participate in the conference, pointing out that the SPLM-N rejected Sudan’s proposal on humanitarian assistance access which was forwarded in the unofficial meeting called for by the Ugandan President.
He affirmed that the Mechanism agreed on presidential system, adding that the national document included the principles of governance.
For his part, the Mechanism member, Kamal Omer affirmed that they overstepped the differences and agreed on Sudan governance programme.
