The Ministry of Trade has adopted new measures to monitor the markets and to control prices, the Minister of Trade Hatim Al Sir
hailed the role of Cooperative Societies to reduce the livelihood burden on people, he also appealed to government coordination with private sectors and None Governmental Organizations NGOs to support the idea of Cooperative Societies to supply people with basic commodities.
The Minister has urged for more production to improve livelihood of the poor people.
While the Minister of Finance and Economy in Khartoum State Adel Mohamed Osman announced 96 Centers to sell the basic commodities by cheap prices, said that the commodities include 10 basic needs.
The director of economic bureau in Consumers’ Protection Society Hussien Goni demanded for rapid government intervention to stop dramatic increasing of prices, economic experts appealed to the quick remedies to limited income families.
