who criticized the smugglers “the actual amount of gold is 30 Tons” while nearly 77 Tons smuggled, Mubarak revealed that US$ 6 million is the remittances which fund the public treasury.He acknowledged that Sudan delayed the tackling of the economic issues following the secession of the South Sudan.
The Minister attributed the economic deterioration to the mismanagement of oil and economic potentials, while he was speaking before the forum of the economic sectors’ ministers took place on Saturday in North Kordofan State.
“The Urban citizens consume 80% of the Rural production, while citizens in rural areas consume only 20%” added the Minister.
Mubarak pointed out that promoting production is the only way to curb inflation that reached to 35%, while the Minister of Agriculture Al Egimi who participated in the event has discussed with government of North Kordofan the feasibility of funding Gum Arabic and other agricultural products.
The governor of North Kordofan State Ahmed Haron told that his State is always contribute to the national economy through mobilizing efforts of both private and public sectors.
