Khartoum-Sudan, Japan and the UNDP have signed the US$6.500 grant provided by the Japanese movement for social stability programme in the presence of Minister of International Cooperation, Idris Suleiman, the Japanese Ambassador, the DDR Commissioner, and UNDP Country Director.
For his part, Minister of International Cooperation, Idris Suleiman commended the continuous support of Japan to Sudan to meet the national priorities in the economical development, describing the Japanese support as integrated assistance as it included humanitarian, technical and developmental aid.
