Khartoum - Minister of Petroleum and Gas Dr. Abdel-Rahman Osman has welcomed desire of Ethiopia to benefit from Sudan’s expertise if the field of oil, affirming that Sudan has developed the capabilities of its sons in all stages of petroleum industry, noting that the country has been able to Sudanize the petroleum sector by nearly 100%.
Receiving the visiting high-level Ethiopian technical delegation headed by State Minister for Minerals and Petroleum yesterday, Dr. Osman affirmed that the Sudan’s doors are open for cooperation with neighboring Ethiopia in exchange of experiences.
The visit is expected to be culminated by signing a cooperation agreement between the two countries in the field of petroleum and gas.
The Ethiopian Minister, on his part, said his country is desirous to benefit from Sudan’s expertise in the fields of oil and gas, indicating that Sudan has gained big experiences during its long oil experience.
