Khartoum - (SMC) The Ministry of Trade has announced that the fifth meeting for the team of joining the World Trade Organization (WTO) would be held in Geneva by the end of the current month, affirming that Sudan has fulfilled all requirements for joining the international organization after it had replied to all questions it received form the European Union and the United States of America.
State Minister at the Ministry of Trade Al-Sadig Mohamed Ali has said in a statement to SMC that the Minister of Trade would participate in a workshop to be organized by the international organization this week with the participation of all its members, explaining that the Minister would meet on the sidelines of the workshop with bodies pertinent to Sudan’s joining of WTO.
He pointed out that if the fifth meeting agrees on the issues of joining this will pave the way for Sudan’s joining to WTO to a great extent.
