Khartoum – (SMC) Dams Implementation Unit (DIU) revealed the signature of contracts to construct 13 water plants distributed in Darfur, Red Sea and Blue Nile States.
Water Harvest Administration in the DIU stated to (SMC) that they signed contracts for drilling 50 wells in Darfur states in concentration on IDPs voluntary return areas, pointing out that the projects aim at developing the bordering areas and reducing the clashes between shepherds and farmers inside the borders.
He revealed the signature of contracts to construct 14 purification plants in Northern, Sennar, Kassala, Gezira and White Nile states.
