Khartoum - The President of the Republic, Omar Al Bashir on Tuesday received an invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, to attend the Arab Summit conference set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The president also received another invitation from King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz for participation in the Maritime exercise in which a number of Arab countries are taking part, the Arab alliance countries in particular.
The invitations were presented to the President when he received the Saudi Ambassador to the Sudan, Ali Bin Hassan Jaafar at the Guest House in Khartoum, Tuesday.
The ambassador underlined in statements the importance of the Arab summit meeting which will discuss a number of issues related to the Arab Nation and challenges facing it.
The ambassador said the summit will be preceded by meetings of the experts to be followed by the meetings of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs who in turn will submit their findings in form of recommendations and resolutions to the Arab Summit
