Khartoum-The Chief of Joint Staff, Lt. Gen. Emad-Eddin Mustafa Adawi discussed on Sunday with his Kuwairi counterpart
, Gen. Mohamed Khalid Al-Khidir the military relations between Sudan and Kuwait and ways of pushing them further.
Lt. Gen. Adawi said in press statements after the meeting that they discussed progress of military and defense relations between the two sisterly countries.
He commended the Kuwaiti supportive stances to Sudan's issues and expressed appreciation to Kuwait support to Sudan economy.
The Chief of Joint Staff said the Sudan-Kuwait military ties are deeply rooted, disclosing that the second batch of Kuwaiti cadets would be graduated today , Sunday from the Sudan War College .
He hoped that the Sudanese-Kuwaiti relations developed in all fields, indicating that cooperation between the two countries did not confine to training cadets in military college but in all institutes and colleges.
He said we plan to hold a number of joint exercises to brace for challenges facing the region .
"This military cooperation is a good step for boosting the mutual confidence and further understandings between the two countries" Lt. Gen. Adawi said.
The Chief of Staff of Kuwaiti Army expressed pleasure over visit of Sudan and that he came in to attend graduation of a number of Kuwaiti officers from Sudanese War College.
He appreciated level of cooperation between the Armies
