Accordingly, the Philippine Food Festival is back, for the second time at Al Nuba Restaurant. It consists of spectacular Filipino cuisine by Chef Suharto and Chef Emma and music that is played by a talented Filipino soloist Joseph who were brought from the Philippines specifically for this occasion. The event was honored and opened last May 6, 2017 by the Ambassador of the Philippines, His Excellency Leslie Baja from the Philippine Embassy Cairo, other honorable Ambassadors, government officials, Filipino community and other special guests. His Excellency Ambassador Leslie Baja praised the greatness and hospitality of Al Salam Rotana Khartoum, as usual, in addition to the atmosphere and the music that dazzled everyone.
The Marketing and Communications Manager of the hotel, Mrs. Cristina Sulaik organized everything in coordination with the Philippine Embassy Cairo and Honorary Consulate of the Philippines in Sudan headed by Mr. Tarig Elnefeidi, and made sure to get the admiration of all the guests with the great ambiance and wonderful atmosphere at Al Nuba Restaurant. Lastly, the General Manager of Al Salam Rotana Khartoum, Mr. Adnan Dayoub expressed his great happiness and thanked everyone for their presence. He assured that the hotel will continue to showcase different cultures and cuisines in collaboration with different embassies to bring us to different traditions and experiences.
