UN Security Council Member-states Ambassadors, US Special Envoy Visit Al-Fasher

Al-Fasher – A delegation representing the Ambassadors of the UN Security Council member states, the US Special Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan, Princeton N. Lyman visited, Sunday, Al-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State, in response to an invitation extended by the Joint Special Representative of the United Nations African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID).
The delegation held a meeting with the Governor of North Darfur State, Abdul Wahid Yousuf in the presence of the members of the state's security committee and briefed on the developments of security and humanitarian situations in the state where the Governor affirmed the stability and humanitarian situations.
Abdul Wahid, during the meeting has affirmed that the state is free of the armed movements, adding that the rest of the movements involved in the current conflict in Libya.
