Khartoum - Vice-President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul Rahman has given directive to expedite provision of services to villages and areas of voluntary return in Darfur States.
Chairing meeting of Committee of Voluntary Return in Darfur in the Republican Palace, Tuesday, the Vice-President said peace and security stability achieved in Darfur following firearms collection campaign encouraged many displaced people and refugees in neighboring countries to back to their home villages and areas.
Minister of Welfare and Social Security, Mashair Al-Dawalab said the meeting directed the Ministry of Welfare and Social Security to find sustainable solutions to issue of free repatriation and provide services necessary for stability of returnees in all Darfur States in coordination with governors of the Darfur States.
She asserted that the state was moving from relief policy to reconstruction and development.
