Splinter Group from SPLM-North Signs the National Document

Khartoum - A group that has defected from the rebel SPLM-North movement led by Fadlalla Eissa Abu Keian signed yesterday at the premises of the National Dialogue at the Friendship Hall here the National Document, in the presence of National Dialogue Secretary General Prof. Hashim Ali Salim and a number of the leaders of the group.
Prof. Salim said the signing of the group to the National Document is considered as an addition to the National Dialogue and the process of peace and stability prevailing now all over the country, pointing out that signing of the National Document remains open to whoever wants to join the National Dialogue process.
He called on all holdouts to listen to the voice of wisdom and join the march for building the homeland.
Head of the group Fadlallah Eissa, on his part, said their response to the call of peace and accord came after they were convinced that war would not solve the issue, pointing out that the outcome of the National Dialogue, which is agreed upon by all, finds all support from the group.
