Khartoum - Ali Wafi, a dissident leader of the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) led by Jibril Ibrahim, confirmed that the Eritrean state maintains a number of Darfurian rebel movements within camps on its territory.
Wafi warned that the Eritrean-Egyptian alliance would move these elements and play them as cards of pressure on the government by deploying a number of mercenaries of movements on the eastern border, explaining that the members of these movements are present in camps as inactive elements and carry out their activities under the direct instructions of Eritrean intelligence, adding that the armed movement will catch any chance to practice mercenaries to serve their personal interests and try to find a foothold after the regular forces had crushed it in Darfur.
