Khartoum - (SUNA) The Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research professor Sumaiya Mohamed Ahmed Abu Kashawa, on Tuesday said the government is now

moving fully towards the use of clean and renewable energy and the accompanying technologies
The Minister has commended the role played by the National Council for Energy Research which works to increase the uses of renewable energies and increase the efficiency of their uses in the country, through contribution in a number of projects locally and regionally that seeks to spread and support the implementation of policies, technologies and strategies towards renewal energies at lower cost.

The Minister on Tuesday paid a visit to the Center for Energy Research in Suba I the company of the state Minister for energy, Dr Abdou Musa and a number of other officials.

The Ministry stressed the need to coordinate with her ministry so as to achieve the national project for continued development of industries in the Sudan.
