Khartoum - Deputy Governor and Minister of Health of Blue Nile State Dr. Abdul-Rahman Balal launched at the premises of the Peace Council in Damazin a workshop on multi-sector humanitarian aid project that targets more than 166,000 returnees besides host communities at the cost of 2.599 million dollars.
The aid projects cover fields of water, sanitation, livelihood and education.
Addressing the workshop, the Deputy Governor of Blue Nile State, said the project is considered one of the pioneering projects which are extended by donors, affirming that the state is enjoying now peace and stability and endeavoring to realize sustainable development in all its part.
He urged the donors to speed up implementation of the project before the advent of the rainy season.
