Khartoum - Muddathir Abdel-Ghani the minister of investment has described Sudanese-Turkish relations as distinguished in economic and political fields,

adding that Turkish investments in Sudan accounted for 600 million US dollars.
The Minister invited Turkish investors and companies to visit Sudan to acquaint themselves with Sudan’s potentials for investments in the areas of agriculture, industry and services. 
Following his return from a Sudanese-Turkish investment forum held in Istanbul, the minister briefed the ministerial meeting on the government’s steps dfor reform to procedures and investment regulations to pave the way for foreign investments, especially in the private sector.
The Istanbul investment forum aims to boost economic cooperation between Turkey and Africa, as well as looking for new joint investment opportunities in the continent, especially in the field of infrastructure.
