Khartoum- South Sudan Former Vice President Riek Machar said he isn’t receiving support from the Sudanese government and denying as untrue that he is preparing for a new war.
He declined to disclose the name of the state he is intending to head for after leaving South Africa.
Machar said in an interview with London Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper published on Wednesday “I will select the state which I will head for and of course when I arrive at the capital of that state I will announce it”
He added, “I will head for the countries of the region to hold talks with their leaders to obtain their opinion on whether they support peace or continuation of war.”
Machar downplayed the talk of the end of his political future saying that “I am the official of the forces of people’s movement in the opposition and I alone decide continuation of my political life or ending it.”
