Khartoum - Minister of Oil and Gas, Dr. Abdul Rahman Osman announced good oil discoveries, which he described as a new breakthrough to boost oil production in the country.
During his inspected visit to the Rawat field yesterday, the minister revealed an increase in the oil reserves from 19 million barrels to 165 million barrels, due to the experience of Sudanese cadres, expecting funding to push oil production
For his part, the head of the Rawat company, Fahmi Al-Awad, said that the modernization of the work is accelerating the pace of production and that it can produce 10 thousand barrels per day, stressing that it is subject to the provision of funding.
