The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) announced launching a project to improve health services in Sudan committed through a grant of US $22-million starting from next March for 57 months.
The report said in its report published in its official website that the project aims at increasing the demand on health care and improving the services supply in order to reduce the mortality rate un four states in Sudan i.e. Gezira, Khartoum, Northern and River Nile States,
The project will boost the capabilities of the providers including the mobile health intervention to be used in health awareness amid women and the possibility of getting health services.
The project will lead to expanding the scope of health services and its effectiveness in child, nutrition and curbing cancer.
