Khartoum - Governor of the Northern State, Ali Awad Mousa announced plans to secure the borders of the state with neighboring countries and to implement the emergency order to collect unlicensed weapons.
He said, in the opening session of the state legislature, that the state has witnessed a political security stability in 2017, stressing the low level of crime rates markedly in the past year, which has continued to implement programs of development and promotion of services in the areas of water, health and education, adding that the regular forces in the state play their role in the implementation of plans and programs this year to secure the border and the collection of weapons, pointing out that the work will continue in the completion of road, water and electricity projects.
