Khartoum (SMC) – Government delegation for the Two Areas’ talks affirmed that the President’s decisio

n to extend the ceasefire is considered an initiative and ethical commitment to create the conducive environment to accomplish the peace process.
Government delegation spokesperson, Dr. Hussein Hamdi stated to (smc) that the truce is a step that comes within the keenness of the government to achieve peace and stability, expression hope that the other party takes serious and practical steps to achieve peace.
It is worth noting that President Al Bashir issued a Republican decree to extend the ceasefire to avail the conducive environment to make the talks over the two areas a success.
