Khartoum (SUNA) - The Permanent Representative of Sudan to the United Nations Ambassador Omar Dahab
has received at his office the President of the Security Council, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ambassador Khairat Umarov.
The meeting touched on the issues that concern Sudan in the Security Council, which include the Council's current plan to gradually reduce the UNAMID mission in Darfur to end up with the implementation of the exit strategy.
The Sudan UN delegate expressed the government recognitions for the concern being given by Kazakhstan and its UN permanent mission to the overall issues of Sudan in the Security Council and the United Nations in general.
