Sudanese-South African Friendship Association Honors Interior Minister Lt. Gen. Mannan

The Council of International People’s Friendship (CIPF) and the Sudanese-South African Friendship Association have honored the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. (Police) Hamid Mannan, the deputy chairman of the association.
The occasion was attended by CIPF Secretary General Abdel-Moneim Al-Sunni, Secretary of Arab-Chinese Relations League Ahmed Abdel-Rahman, Commissioner at the Headquarters of Khartoum State Amirah Abu-Tawilah and the Chairman of the Sudanese-South African Friendship Association, Ambassador Ali Yusuf.
Lt. Gen. (police) Hamid Mannan, addressing the occasion, said the CIPF works to boost the popular relations among the peoples of the world, noting that the council has distinguished roles in the field of popular diplomacy internally and externally.
The Interior Minister affirmed his support to the Sudanese-South African popular diplomacy project.
CIPF Secretary General Abdel-Moneim Al-Sunni, on his part, pointed out that the Council has distinguished popular diplomacy relations with South Africa, lauding the efforts being exerted by the Sudanese-South African Friendship Association for enhancing the relations between the two peoples.
He lauded the Sudanese-South African Friendship Association for honoring Dr. Hamid Mannan as one of the distinguished sons of the Sudan.
It is worth mentioning that the Sudanese-South African Friendship Association is a popular group that strives to promote the people-to-people relations between Sudan and South Africa under the umbrella of the Council for International People’s Friendship.
The Sudanese Balimbo folkloric music band gave performance during the occasion.
