Khartoum - Secretary General of the Council for International People’s Friendship (CIPF) Engineer Abdel-Moneim Al-Sunni has recently received at his office in Khartoum the Governor of Bangui, Central Africa Republic, Mir Nkambo, hailing the distinguished relations linking the Sudanese and Central African peoples.
The CIPF Secretary General called for further promotion for these relations and opening more horizons for joint cooperation and exchange of expertise for the benefit of the two peoples.
The Governor of Bangui, on his part, lauded the big role being assumed by CIPF in the field of people’s diplomacy, affirming that they would accord full cooperation to all sectors of the Sudanese people.
He noted that they would benefit from the experiences of Sudan pertinent to peaceful religious coexistence and the National Dialogue.
It is to be noted that the Governor of Bangui chairs the Central African- Sudanese Friendship Association.
Meanwhile, the CIPF Secretary General said in a statement to Sudan Vision that the Council is preparing to dispatch a support convoy- convoy of brotherhood and good neighborliness- to Central Africa Republic in collaboration with the civil society organizations.
These organizations have expressed readiness, during a meeting held with them, to participate in all axes of the support convoy, which cover health, education, development, culture and the peaceful religious coexistence, he added.
He said the support convoy is considered the first of its kind to Central Africa Republic to reflect the good neighborliness ties.
