Khartoum - The Deputy Chairman of the National Council of Ministers, the Minister of Investment

, Dr. Mubarak Al-Fadil al Mahdi, met Thursday Mr. Jean-Michel Dumond, the EU ambassador to Sudan. The two discussed Projects the EU plans to implement in the coming phase in the area of education and food security.
The meeting also tackled joint cooperation to ensure the success of the project projects.
The EU ambassador noted that the program targets six states, including the projects of return of the displaced people to their villages in Darfur, the projects of the food security, and social development in Kassala state through tapping the state's agriculture resources.
Dr. Mubarak expressed his appreciation for the EU efforts in social development and economy, indicating the facilitation of the return of the displaced persons in Darfur to their homes of origin.
