Khartoum - (Khalda Elyas) Minister of Transport, Roads and Bridges, Eng.  Makkawi Mohamed Awad renewed interest of the government of Sudan of railway and highways project and opening of border crossings between Sudan and Chad, praising the eternal relations between the two countries.
During his meeting with the Chadian delegation yesterday, the Minister stressed the importance of the visit to promote the two sides efforts in activating the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries, calling on Chad to take advantage of the geographical and economic features of the port of Port Sudan to transport Chadian goods, announcing their commitment to provide all necessary services and facilities to achieve benefit and welfare of the two peoples.
