Echo: The Last Desperate Attempt!

In the news the Sudanese opposition forces is planning for a march in protest to the price hikes.
On January 16 and 17 the opposition organized protest rallies in Khartoum and Omdurman on price hikes and lifting of subsidies on some commodities but both demonstrations failed to mobilize the citizens to join it.
The opposition forces called for organizing peaceful processions against the 2018 budget of starvation as they call it.
The proposed demonstrations will be the last desperate attempt of the opposition, after which it will stop and reconsider its stances.
It is high time for the opposition to learn from the past lessons that it is not representing the Sudanese citizens and that is clear from its failure during the last three decades in toppling the regime since Addis Ababa, Asmara, Ndjamena, Tripoli, Nairobi, Kampala, Juba and Cairo including armed moves.
The opposition should launch a national thinking that lead to midway and to transform from opposition just for opposition to a new approach through proposing programmes and resolutions according to new principles instead of the current naïve approach.
