Khartoum - Foreign Minister, Ibrahim Ghandour met with his Libyan counterpart, Mohamed Siala, who heads his country's delegation at the 72nd session of the United
Nations General Assembly, in the framework of ongoing political consultation between Sudan and Libya.
Ghandour confirmed the decision of the Republic of Sudan to start the work of Sudanese ambassador from the Libyan capital Tripoli, reiterating Sudan's continuous support for the political solution in Libya.
The meeting dealt with a number of issues of mutual concern and current international issues, in addition to the developments of security and political situation in Libya, and efforts to combat terrorism and recent developments in the region.
