Khartoum - (SUNA) The second meeting of the committee for coordination with donors, has discussed the strategy set by the Ministry of International Cooperation, and included the ministry's priorities, the authorities relative to its projects that need to be financed by the international organization working in the Sudan.
The meeting was chaired by the State Minister of the Ministry of International Cooperation, Somia A'akd, in the presence of the Minister of International Cooperation, Iddris Sulieman, the ministry's Undersecretary, al-Tahir Eidam.
The state minister has underlined the importance of the strategy for making a clear vision to be agreed upon by the government and donor organization for the implementation of these projects.
She demanded the government organs to strictly identify its requirements according to the national needs, meanwhile , she reviewed the priorities of the ministries of health, environment, agriculture, industry, the water resources, irrigation and electricity, ministry of finance, the Sudan Central Bank, in addition to the Commission of Humanitarian Aid and the Sudanese Council of Voluntary Agencies (SCOVA).
The meeting has, meanwhile, approved the ministry's priorities, after discussion to the development requirements in the different sectors, and briefed on framework of the UN action.
