Khartoum – International Justice Conference issued Marrakech Declaration on judicial independence, judicial diversity and the importance of adhering to the rule of law. .
Ministers of justice, public prosecutors, and members of the judiciary from North America, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia came together to discuss the independence of the judiciary, and the rights of litigants within the rules of justice.
Minister of Justice, Dr. Idriss Jameel affirmed, in his address to the conference, that empowering justice could by only through the independence of judiciary, adding that the conference represents a great historical event to recognize the recognize the reform efforts in Morocco, pointing out to the appreciation of the participating countries to the efforts exerted by Morocco to make the conference a success.
