Khartoum Health Ministry Awarded Star of Achievement

Khartoum - The President of the Republic Omar Al Bashir has affirmed the commitment of the Presidency to provide medical treatment inside the country to relieve the suffering of the patients and save the effort and psychological pressure on their families.
Al Bashir confirmed yesterday during launching a number of new buildings at Ahmed Gasim Heart Hospital, that the Sudanese cadres have distinguished themselves when working abroad.
The President of the Republic issued a decision awarding medals and a star of achievement to the Ministry of Health of the State of Khartoum and also the star of achievement to the State Ministry of Finance and Consumer Affairs and the star of achievement of Ahmed Gasim Hospital and the order of achievement to the National Medical Supplies Fund.
The Governor of  Khartoum State, 1st Lt. General Abdul Rahim Mohammed Hussein, stressed on  the importance  of strengthening  the reference hospitals in the State  and  called  on  The Presidency  to support the modernization of the hospital.  
Health Minister of Khartoum State, Mamoun Humaida revealed that the number of patients attending the health centers is more than 3,000, and all the radiotherapy equipment’s is available in Khartoum, stressing on the decline in the number of malaria cases in Khartoum.
Dr. Huda Hamid, Director General of Ahmed Gasim Hospital, called on this occasion the Presidency to support the new wards in the coming year.
