Pledges of Foreign Aid to Sudan at Value of US$600 Million

Khartoum - (smc) Minister of International Cooperation Ambassador Idriss Suleiman has disclosed pledges of foreign aid to Sudan at the value of 600 million dollars as he expected at the same time that the country would receive foreign support in the forms of grants and loans, trade dealings and big investments.
Suliman said in a statement to SMC that Sudan would witness more external openness and great international cooperation in the coming period, expecting that big increases would occur in the production of gold, oil, agriculture and animal resources.
The Minister of International Cooperation announced strategic trend for transference from humanitarian aid gradually to development aid, as the latest has sustainable benefits.
