Khartoum (Khalda Elyas) - Minister of Transport, Roads and Bridges Engineer Makkawi Mohamed Awad

has stressed the importance of comprehensive quality management system which is to be applied at Sudan Railways Corporation, transferring it from traditional management system to that of excellence and quality.
Launching the Railways Development Project, the Minister of Transport has pointed out that it comes as part of the reform program of the state to realize development of the corporation in accordance with qualified cadres and depending on self-resources for implementation of its projects.
Director General of Sudan Railways Corporation Engineer Ibrahim Fadul Abdallah, on his part, affirmed the great contributions being made by the corporation to the economic and social development in the country, stressing the importance of presence of experts from the supreme council for excellence and quality to evaluate to progress of work.
The Secretary General of Supreme Council for Comprehensive Quality and Excellence, Dr. Awadia Al-Khateeb, on her part, stressed that quality represents the culture of the modern era, sustainability of development and investment in human resources.
