Investment Ministry: We are Keen on Establishing Distinguished Relations with Kenya in All Fields

Khartoum- State Minister at the Ministry of Investment Osama Faisal has affirmed the state’s keenness on boosting relations with Kenya in all political, economic and social fields.
Addressing Kenya-Sudan Tea Industry Business Forum in Ewa Hotel yesterday, the State Minister called for upgrading the forum to expand further tea commodity and other investments during the third forum next year, which would comprise the Ministries of Industry, Investment and Trade.
He referred to the challenges that had faced the Sudanese economy in the past, affirming that the economy is now progressing well in a good manner.
The State Minister pointed out that Sudan is endowed with vast investment opportunities and conducive environment including fertile lands and infrastructures.
Sudan Ambassador to Kenya Al Sadik Abdallah Elyas, on his part, stressed the importance of increasing trade and investment exchanges between the two countries, calling for entering into other investments besides the tea commodity.
The Ambassador affirmed that the relations between the two countries are excellent and making steady steps forward, calling on the Sudanese and Kenyan businessmen to exchange visits to get acquainted on the investment opportunities in the two countries.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to Sudan, Arown Suge, on his part, called for increasing trade transactions between two countries in the field of tea and other investments, referring to the efforts exerted by the leaderships in the two countries that succeeded in removing the impediments that had been affecting trade exchanges in the past.
