Khartoum - (smc) Popular Congress Party (PCP) has affirmed that it is working through the national accord government and contacts with the holdouts and the armed movements towards laying down arms and passing the permanent constitution
Dr Kamal Omer the leading figure at the party told (SMC) that they will work with all their political mechanisms to reach the stage of political consensus on the constitution outlining that the national dialogue has created a new status, climate and legitimacy that would assist in laying down a permanent constitution for the country
He said in the outcomes of the national dialogue it was agreed that it is imperative to pass the constitution by an elected council for the purpose of the constitution-making to reach an agreed on constitutional systems.
