Khartoum - Minister of Environment, Natural Resources and Physical Development Dr. Hassan Abdul-Gadir Hilal has met the visiting parliamentary delegation of Czech Republic

and discussed aspects of cooperation between the Sudan and Czech Republic, especially in the field of environment.
The Minister presented during the meeting briefing on the environment issues in Sudan.
He pointed out that he discussed with the Czech delegation the ministry’s projects, which cover sanitation and technology transfer, especially in the domains of renewable energies, such as solar, wind and geothermal powers.
The Minister praised the role being played by Czech Republic in Africa, especially in the field of environment protection, affirming that his ministry has a clear vision towards environment issues and committed to realization of its objectives of environment preservation and protection of natural resources.
He stressed the importance of creating safe environment that is free of pollutants, calling for curbing of emissions, boosting productive energies and developing resources to realize development.
