Khartoum - Minister of Animal Wealth, Prof. Musa Tibin stressed the importance of supporting and developing livestock projects, in cooperation with FAO in the field of training cadres through the use of modern technologies.
Addressing the opening of the training course for animal statistics, the minister said that the use of Google Earth technology by the employees of the ministry is a new step and a strong motivation to take care of training and qualifying cadres to facilitate animal statistics.
He said that the beginning of next April will see the arrival of delegates from FAO to train employees of the ministry in accordance with the agreement signed between the two parties, praising the use of modern technology in aerial surveys throughout the Sudan, stressing that sound planning is one of the most successful ways to develop and success of animal statistics in Sudan.
