Khartoum- The consultative meeting of the group of the Council of National Unity Parties agreed yesterday that the constitution shall be approved by the National Legislature as it comprises wide base of the political forces.
Secretary General of the Council Abboud Jabir said in a press statement that the meeting has agreed in principle that the constitution shall be approved by the National Legislature, affirming that the council would conduct wide consultations in this connection on the central and state levels.
He reaffirmed keenness of the council on reaching consensus on the constitution based on the national base established by the National Dialogue on solution of national issues and boosting stability.
