Sudan Ambassador to Pretoria Appreciates S. Africa Withdrawal from ICC

Pretoria - Sudan Ambassador to South Africa Ambassador, Omer Mohammed Ahmed Siddig has lauded South Africa decision to withdraw from the so-called International Criminal Court (ICC).
The Ambassador interviewed by the 404 news Channel said the decision will have positive impacts represented in more withdrawal of African countries from ICC which was directed against the African Head of States for political motivations, referring to the statements of the Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni who described the ICC as useless and targets the Africans.
The Ambassador has indicated to the independency of judiciary in Sudan, a matter that enables it to do justice in Darfur, affirming the government commitment to protect its citizens against the rebels and the arms holders who threatens security and stability in the country.
He refuted allegations by the ICC against President Al Bashir, describing them as fabrications issued by opposition circles.
